Steinbeck's iconic masterpiece was first published in this UK edition in a very small print run, thus even more scarce then the exceedingly rare US first edition. The National Steinbeck Center has only seven first printings of Steinbeck works in their extensive collection, this UK first edition being one of those chosen few! 553 pages.
