The 7" x 9 3/4" hardback books have elaborate blind stamped design on the front boards and gilt design and titles on the spines. They have lots of illustrations in black and white and color, including maps. The books are in Very Good+ or better condition, with the covers showing only minimal signs of edge and corner wear; and the interiors being clean and mark free. The hinges are sound. Nice set! Looks great on the shelf! 4696 pages.
