Ten (10) matching volumes - Decorative embossed brick colored cloth with a large leaf design and a cameo portrait of Dickens on front boards, faded gilt titles on spines. Very good condition, with the covers showing varying degrees of scuffing, discoloration, and edge and corner wear and with only a couple with soiling spots; and the interiors being mostly quite clean and mark free, one with hand drawn book plate in the front, one with spine end tear, couple with very light foxing and small corner folds, two have hinges slightly weakened with starting inside. Nearly 1000 illustrations throught text of all volumes have several in text illustrations, many with frontispieces. Text printed in two columns throughout. Contributing artists include : L F. Barnard, C. Green, J. Mahoney and, F. A. Fraser.
