Usual yellowing, light spotting, offsetting, former owners signature, few stains, cloth spine missing, starting to front and back, some b&w illustrations colored with crayon, corners of boards lightly frayed. Otherwise usual wear. First Edition, having 12 color plates coated only on the printed side. Also, pages, color of binding, etc. are correct. Peter (the lad from Philadelphia), Captain Salt and Ato, King of the Octagon Island (both introduced in this story) encounter adventures on the Nonestic Ocean, then Arrive in Oz just in time to thwart the Nome King in his latest attempt at conquest.
