Denslow (including glossy cover illustration ) with sparkling touches of colored foil & Emerald City eyeglasses. Design work by Matthew Reinhart. All the pop-ups are in near mint condition, as is the book itself. Shorter version of L. Frank Baum's original text illus. in color with Sabuda's magnificent pop-ups. Seven double-page pop-ups with smaller ones throughout behind "door flaps". Beautiful rendition of the Wizard Of Oz in sparkling pop-ups, published on its one hundredth anniversary. Sabuda uses complex structures, double page lay-outs, colored foil and other dazzling touches.
