Whitman Publishing Co., 1934. (actually published January 1935). FIRST EDITION, first and only printing. 32mo. Big Little Book. Illustrated stiff cardboard covers with slight rubbing along edges. 425 numbered pages of text and full page illustrations by Milt Youngren. This is the only book done by Baum's eldest son who correctly foresaw litigation problems with Reilly & Lee which quickly ended publication of Laughing Dragon as well as precluded publication of any other titles. Thus, very few copies of this RARE book are available (some say as few as 300 were ever published) authored by Frank J. Baum, son of the legendary Oz creator L. Frank Baum. The Laughing Dragon of Oz #1126. Overall very good condition, illustrated cover is in good condition, slight cracking along corners and edges (no fraying)- pages bound together tightly but unattached from spine - tear on lower corner of page 238 with some text loss - minimal pencil/name in pen on the inside cover. Among the rarest of Oz titles, fantastic investment potential.
