The Popular Edition of a sequel to the Wizard of Oz, this brilliant edition of Baum's book is dedicated to David Montgomery and Fred Stone, the Tinman and Scarecrow of Wizard of Oz fame. Larger-print copy red-orange boards with beautifully-colored pastedown illustration of the Wizard, Tinman, Scarecrow, and Dorothy on the front of its 9 1/2" cover. Cover has one chipped spot in upper right hand corner. Inside cover wells soiled. No previous owner names/writing, only one illustration has been partially colored in (neck of a horse colored blue) - the rest of the illustrations appear to be clean. Unique dedication by Baum thanking the two performers who traveled around portraying the Tin Man and Scarecrow - prior to the MGM classic movie. 287 pages. Images :
